2016-2017 Texas Academic Performance
The Texas Education Agency recently released the 2013-2014 Accreditation statuses for school districts across the state. Rating the overall areas of student accountability and financial integrity, HFISD received the overall “Accredited” status which is the highest rating given, “Superior Achievement” on FIRST financial rating which is the highest rating given, and “Met Standard” on state accountability ratings which is also the highest rating given.
Texas School Report Cards (SRC) and Federal School Report Cards (NCLB) are now available and are posted on your child's campus website. The Federal NCLB report provides similar information as the Texas SRC concerning average student test performance from 2013 as well as information concerning average class size and student/teacher ratios.The data contained in the Federal School Report Card (NCLB) is based on the most recent Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) report, which replaced the previous Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports.
