Serving grades Pre-Kindergarten through third grade, Hamshire-Fannett Elementary, a Recognized school, is located in Fannett, Texas, a small rural community 70 miles east of Houston. We have an enrollment of about 500 students and an instructional and support staff of 60. Along with the other school districts in Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties, we are served by the Region 5 Educational Service Center . Hamshire-Fannett Elementary has long maintained a high standard of academic excellence. Through a continuing partnership involving teachers, administrators, school board members, and parents, we are committed to meeting the challenge of providing a quality education to every student attending Hamshire-Fannett Elementary School.
A Note To All Visitors:
All visitors (parents, grandparents, volunteers, etc.) must check in the office upon arrival at the elementary campus. Visitors must leave their drivers license in the office while visting the campus and pick up a visitor's badge. The visitor's badge needs to be visible. Visitors that attend meetings, lunch, programs, etc. will need to check in the office. For the Christmas and Easter parties, visitors will sign the sign-in sheet in the classrooms. Safety for our students, staff, and visitors is the goal of Hamshire-Fannett Elementary.
Thank you for your cooperation.
