Hospitality & Tourism



The Hospitality and Tourism course is in the Hospitality and Tourism Career Cluster

and explores the 4 basic components of travel, recreation, food and lodging industies.





Students will learn:

academic skills necessary for the hospitality and tourism industry

develop verbal/nonverbal communication skills

self responsibility and self management

time/energy management along with decision making

explore lifestyle/career goals

demonstrate/operate computer applications

participate in leadership, citizenship and teamwork (FCCLA)*

basic food safety and sanitation

participate in hands-on cooking lab

baking/cooking techniques

basic table etiquette and napkin folding

receive ServSafe Employee Level Certification
