Curriculum & Instruction
At Hamshire-Fannett ISD, our Curriculum and Instruction Department is committed to empowering every student to reach their fullest potential through high-quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and strong relationships. We work alongside campus leaders and teachers to foster engaging, student-centered classrooms where academic excellence, critical thinking, and leadership are encouraged every day.
Our team partners with principals and instructional staff to ensure curriculum alignment, support innovative teaching practices, provide professional learning opportunities, and equip educators with the resources they need to help all students succeed. Through a collaborative approach, we strive to create learning environments that inspire curiosity, encourage growth, and prepare students for success beyond the classroom.
Hamshire-Fannett ISD is proud to participate in the Texas Curriculum Management Program Cooperative (TCMPC) and utilize the TEKS Resource System as one of our curriculum support tools. This comprehensive resource is aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and state assessment expectations, providing a consistent framework for teaching and learning across core academic subjects in grades K–12. In addition to the TEKS Resource System, our educators utilize a variety of instructional resources and research-based strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students and ensure engaging, rigorous learning experiences for every Longhorn.
