Drugs & Alcohol

At Hamshire-Fannett ISD, the health and well-being of our students is a top priority. We are committed to educating students and families about the risks of substance use while promoting healthy, positive choices that support lifelong success.

Parents and guardians play a vital role in preventing substance abuse. Open communication, education, and early intervention can help children make informed decisions and avoid the use of tobacco, vaping products, alcohol, marijuana, prescription medications, and other harmful substances.

Families are encouraged to learn about the warning signs of substance use, talk regularly with their children about making safe choices, and seek support if concerns arise.

Students and families who need assistance are encouraged to contact a campus counselor or administrator for resources and support.
